When you decide on Candlelight Pictures to create your wedding film, what exactly do you get for your money?
Firstly, you'll have two camera operators on the day as standard as we believe it's simply impossible to effectively cover your wedding in full any other way. This allows us to shoot multiple angles for all the big moments and hugely increases the production value of the finished film, while also ensuring we get plenty of shots of all your guests as well as you as a couple.
In terms of coverage, to keep things simple every wedding package we offer includes the following:
Arrival of guests at least 1 hour prior to ceremony
Arrival of bridal party
Full wedding service
Cutting of the cake
First three dances
The main feature is a 30 minute (approximate) cinematic highlights film edited to music of your choosing and subtly colour graded to a professional finish. We also include separately your wedding ceremony in full, edited in chronological order and showing everything from the bridal entrance through to your marriage vows and the signing of the register, as well as all of your speeches in full. As standard this will be delivered on a USB stick in a branded presentation box. By popping this straight into your smart TV it will ensure you have the highest video quality possible (extra USB copies are available for an additional fee).
We will also create for you a 3-4 minute short highlights film with fully licensed music that you will be free to share on social media as you wish.
While everything above comes as standard we recognise you may wish to tailor things to your own wishes, perhaps add coverage of your preparations on the morning of the wedding etc, so please contact us for a quotation.
Why choose Candlelight Pictures for my wedding film?
When organising every part of your wedding, you've probably discovered the choices are endless and can often become overwhelming, and choosing a wedding videographer is no exception.
With that in mind, why should you choose Candlelight Pictures?
We're a tiny bit biased, but from our experience these are the three main reasons our clients are consistently delighted that they did:
Quality of work - Our wedding films consistently exceed our couples' expectations both in quality and content. We are obsessive over the exceptional standard of our work and we never conclude an edit until we're 100% happy with every frame of your film. We also pride ourselves in our ability to anticipate and capture unforeseen moments in your day and our clients are always thrilled when they can relive so many parts of their wedding they had forgotten about or weren't even aware of on the day itself.
Customer experience - In addition to providing our clients with an unforgettable wedding film, our goal is to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process, both prior to your wedding and afterwards. We meet all our couples in person before the big day to get to know you a little better, which helps us enormously in making your wedding film more personal to you and not just a generic 'by the numbers' video. We also know how important it is to be comfortable and relaxed with the suppliers involved in your wedding and this meeting allows us arrive on the day as more than just 'strangers with cameras'.
Unobtrusive approach - We'll be totally upfront here. If you're looking for a wedding videographer that will take you away from your guests for an hour to stage set-up shots then that isn't us. We have a clear philosophy on this matter and believe the mark of a great videographer is the ability to craft a beautiful and dramatic wedding film for you from what actually happened naturally on your day. We often receive feedback afterwards from our clients stating they barely remember seeing us at all and we never tire of hearing this. The less we are noticed, the more relaxed you and your guests will be and this allows the true personalities involved in your day to emerge.
We hope the points above give you a bit of an insight into our approach and we'd love to hear from you to discuss your wedding film requirements in more detail.
