Jemma & Ben were married yesterday at Luss Parish Church on the banks of Loch Lomond followed by a brilliant reception at The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel. Jemma was a stunning bride and Ben looked the part in his first kilt-wearing experience despite discovering it does not help cool you down at all in 30 degree heat!
It was our first visit to Luss Parish Church and it's definitely a unique place, not least because of the fact it dates back 1500 years. On our visit there were a huge amount of tourists visiting who were all very polite by not getting in any of our shots!
Thanks to the staff from the hotel for being so accommodating and Greg from Napier Wedding Photography for leading us into some lesser known (and at times precarious!) spots in Luss with his local knowledge. Ben proved himself to be a heroic husband by carrying his new bride over some dangerously muddy ground on our way to get some great shots by the water, and Jemma's sister Laura bravely saved her dress at the expense of her own shoes! Top-level Maid-of-Honouring all round.
Seattle - Scottish Wedding Band got things going right from the start of the night and with the numerous English guests' valiant attempts at ceilidh dancing we think it's safe to say the party was in full flow by the time we eventually left!
